It can also be a good starter or accompany a salad for a light dinner, thanks to the combination of ingredients this recipe contains proteins, vitamins and hydrates and the best thing is that it only takes a few minutes to prepare.

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cans of tuna
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • Virgin olive oil
  • Oregano
  • Salt

Tips: You can also use two large tomatoes and slice or shred them.

1. Toast bread slices in skillet or toaster, until golden brown (or to taste).

2. Drain the tuna cans, mix with a drizzle of virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt and oregano or other herbs to taste, and mix everything well.

3. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. If you prefer, use regular tomatoes and slice or mash them with a grater or a food mill.

4. Spread the tuna mixture on the toast and place the tomatoes on top. Serve, and enjoy!
